In 2016, Moreland Toy Library will be strictly limiting the number of new members, and will operate a waiting list system for those interested. This is due a large spike in new memberships over the past 18 months, and with growing demand, our toy collection and facilities are feeling the strain. To continue to provide a wide range of toys to our current members, and provide a high standard of customer service, we have had to limit the intake of new memberships next year. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused, and will strive to grow our collection and services to keep up with our growing numbers. Existing members will not be affected, but if you are moving from the area, or have let your membership lapse for any reason, please let us know so we can contact the next family on the waiting list.

Joining the Toy Library’s Committee of Management
The Toy Library’s volunteer-run committee of management is always on the lookout for new members with fresh ideas, enthusiasm and a passion for supporting the local community. As well as making a valuable contribution to the Toy Library community, involvement in the committee looks great on your CV and entitles you to free membership. The committee meets every 2 months throughout the year, with the first meeting of the new committee to be held immediately following the AGM.
We are particularly in need of new members to support our grant writing and fundraising efforts for 2016, as well as our marketing and communications. We are also seeking a new Secretary for 2016.
If you are intending to nominate for the 2016 committee, please email the Secretary at email@example.com. If you would like more information about the committee or office-holding positions, please contact the current President, Emma Gee on firstname.lastname@example.org.

As we approach the tail end of another great year (you may have already noticed retailers beating each other to stock their shelves with Christmas decorations), our last toy borrowing session will be Saturday 12th December 2015. The Moreland Toy Library will reopen on Friday 5th February 2016.
This Sunday 12th July.
Who likes sausages? Moreland Toy Library is having a sausage sizzle fundraiser this Sunday 12th July at the new Bunnings in Brunswick. Membership fees alone don’t cover all our current running costs so we’re raising money to help us buy more awesome toys for you to borrow at the toy library. Come along and have some delicious sausages!
A huge thanks to the volunteers who have put their names down to come and help serve on the day, we look forward to working with you & thank you for your support and time.
Come to Bunnings Brunswick, 415 Sydney Road (the old Spotlight building) - head to the car park at the back. See you there!
