How do I sign up?

It's easy - just pop in during opening hours, fill out an application form and pay. Anyone is welcome to join!

Gift Vouchers for membership are available in our online store.

What do I need to bring?

  1. Photo ID (e.g. driver's licence/passport)

  2. Proof of address (e.g. a gas, electricity, water or telephone bill, rates notice etc)

  3. Concession card (if applicable)

  4. To save time, you can fill in an application form, print it out and bring it along on your next visit.

How much does it cost?

Not much! There are two options, depending on how many toys you want to borrow. Payment can be made in cash or credit card at either branch.

The below fees will apply from 1st July 2019.

Full Price

  • $70/year = 3 toys per fortnight

  • $90/year = 6 toys per fortnight

Concession (only with a valid concession card)

  • $35/year = 3 toys per fortnight

  • $45/year = 6 toys per fortnight

What else do I need to know?

All toy library sessions are run by a Coordinator and a number of volunteers. Each member family contributes 5 volunteer hours per year. This is equal to two borrowing sessions, or other equivalent tasks that match your skills.

The borrowing period for toys is two weeks. If you bring the toys back late you may incur late fines.

If you return a toy with missing pieces, you may also be required to pay a small deposit, returnable when the piece is found.
